PMC Speakers: Professional Monitor Company Loudspeakers
PMC was founded in 1991 by Peter Thomas of the BBC and Adrian Loader of FWO Bauch. The company's mission is to produce speakers that accurately relay the artist's intentions without distortion. PMC's speakers are handmade in the UK using carefully matched components to ensure they meet strict tolerances and sound identical to the original design. We are an Official PMC Retailer and have latest Prophecy and Prodigy Series available for demo at our Stockton-on-Tees Showroom.
PMC Prodigy Series
The Entry Point to Studio-Grade Sound The Prodigy series is designed to bring PMC’s professional "ATL" (Advanced Transmission Line) technology to a wider audience without compromising on the brand’s signature neutrality. Stripping away decorative flourishes in favour of pure performance, the Prodigy1 standmount and Prodigy5 floorstander offer a clean, contemporary aesthetic. They deliver a level of resolution and bass extension typically found only in much larger, more expensive monitors, making them the perfect introduction to the "PMC sound" for smaller rooms and modern systems. We have the Prodigy 1 standmounts and Prodigy 5 floorstanders on demonstration.
PMC twenty5i Series
The Sweet Spot of Performance and Elegance The "i" (improved) evolution of the award-winning twenty5 range remains the core of the PMC home audio experience. This series features the Laminair aerodynamic vent, which significantly reduces turbulence for faster, cleaner bass response. Equipped with high-performance drivers and sophisticated crossovers developed for the flagship Fenestria, the twenty5i range—spanning compact standmounts to powerful three-way floorstanders—offers a refined, lifelike soundstage and a premium furniture-grade finish that integrates seamlessly into any home.
PMC Prophecy Series
The Pinnacle of High-Resolution Audio Representing the absolute frontier of PMC’s engineering, the Prophecy range (comprising models 1, 5, 7, and 9) is built for the most discerning audiophiles. These speakers feature exceptionally slim, elegant cabinets that house highly sophisticated vibration-management systems and advanced bass loading. Utilising cutting-edge components sourced from the world of elite studio mastering, the Prophecy series provides a level of transparency and detail that is virtually indistinguishable from the original recording. This is the ultimate choice for listeners seeking a "window into the music" and remains the crowning achievement in the PMC home audio lineup. We currently have the full range on Prophecy speakers on demo in our Stockton showroom.
