Product of the year - What HiFi Awards 2025
The latest revision of the British-engineered Chord Mojo 2 brings significant upgrades focused on connectivity and user experience.
A crucial change sees one of the original 3.5 mm outputs replaced by a 4.4 mm Pentaconn socket. This key improvement greatly expands compatibility with a wider range of high-performance headphones, while still retaining a convenient 3.5 mm connection for standard use. For added convenience, both the 3.5 mm and 4.4 mm outputs now feature independent volume memory. This allows users to precisely set and recall optimal output levels for different pairs of headphones.
Responding directly to customer feedback, Chord Electronics has further upgraded the device with switchable USB-C charging. This simplifies the charging operation, as the existing USB-C input is now enabled for both data and charging.
Key Features:
- New 4.4 mm Pentaconn Headphone Output: Unlock the full potential of a far wider range of high-performance headphones.
- Simplified USB-C Charging: The existing USB-C port now handles both data and charging, streamlining your power operation.
- 3.5 mm and 4.4 mm outputs now feature independent volume/DSP memory for perfect level-setting, no matter which port you use.
- Unrivalled digital audio processing; powerful 'FPGA' technology: more resolution, power and efficiency
- Fully transparent 'Ultra HD' digital signal processing EQ, tailoring the sound to you
- Take Mojo 2 wireless when adding the Poly streamer/server (1 TB+)
