AIM Electronics - High End Audio Cables
AIM Electronics was founded in 1983, specialising in data communication cables. The company entered the consumer market in 2006 by pioneering the first 30-meter HDMI cable. Later, it adapted its expertise in USB and LAN cables for network audio, introducing its "Noise Beat" shielding technology. For decades, AIM has been known for its commitment to high performance and quality, building customer trust with products that offer exceptional visual and sound fidelity.
Network Cables designed for High End Audio
AIM Electronics' network cables are part of the "Shieldio" series, designed to reduce electromagnetic interference for high-end audio and data. The product line offers a range of performance levels, starting with the NA2, a basic Ethernet cable with a cross-frame design and high-performance shielding. The NA4 is an "Advance" cable that uses a three-layer shield to reduce signal loss. Positioned as a "High Performance" cable, the NA6 features a more advanced three-layer shield and an asymmetrical design for better noise resistance. The NA9 is the flagship model, which incorporates a four-layer "Hoplon" shielding system for exceptional noise control. The premium NAX model features a pure silver-coated conductor, "Air 2" foamed insulation, and the same advanced "Hoplon" shielding for the ultimate signal transmission and noise suppression.
High performance Audio USB Cables
AIM Electronics offers a range of high-quality USB cables, all designed to minimise noise and interference. The line includes the UA1, a basic high-performance cable with a cross-frame structure, and the UA3, a thicker version with triple shielding.
For USB-C connections, there's the UC1 basic cable and the UAC, a USB-A to C model. The top-tier USAC is a "High Performance" USB-C to C cable that uses the same advanced conductor and five-layer sheath as the UA2. Overall, AIM's USB cables are known for their premium materials and noise-suppressing technology, ensuring the cleanest possible sound.
High Performance HDMI Cables
AIM offers two main types of high-performance HDMI cables: the LS "Laser Cable" series and the FL "Flat Cable" series.
The LS series uses a hybrid design of optical fibre and copper to ensure a noise-free, long-distance signal. The LS3 is an Ultra High-Speed HDMI cable that supports 8K/48Gbps. The LS-U and LS-A models also handle 8K/48Gbps, with the LS-A specifically supporting eARC.
The FL series uses a flat structure to improve signal integrity. The FLV is a passive HDMI cable with a flat structure that also handles 8K/48Gbps, while the FLE3 is a high-performance flat cable for 4K/60p (18Gbps) resolutions.
