The Audiolab 9000Q preamplifier builds on the success of the 8000, 8200, and 8300 series, offering refined performance and expanded features. With its sleek, solid design, it shares a similar look to the 9000N, featuring dual rotary controllers and a 4.3” colour TFT screen for easy control.

At its core, the 9000Q features an upgraded ESS ES9038PRO DAC chip, offering superior dynamic range, ultra-low distortion, and compatibility with high-resolution audio formats like 24-bit/192kHz PCM and DSD. Audiolab's HyperStream II architecture and Time Domain Jitter Eliminator technology ensure crystal-clear sound and precise imaging, making it a top choice for audiophiles.

Designed specifically for high-end audio systems, the 9000Q is built to deliver exceptional performance, offering transparency, detail, and deep dynamics to elevate any listening experience.

By separating the 'pre' function from the integrated amplifier, the 9000Q has been able to evolve into a dedicated preamplifier, resulting in significant improvements. This includes an upgraded MM Phono input, now featuring a new single-stage Class-A circuit, making the 9000Q an outstanding phono stage on its own.

Tone Controls and Inputs

The Audiolab 9000Q features a custom-specified transformer for enhanced current delivery, ensuring precise and detailed performance. Building on the 9000A, it introduces adjustable tone controls for treble and bass, with a range of +/-6dB in 2dB steps for fine-tuning to suit room acoustics or personal preference.

Versatile Connectivity

The 9000Q supports a wide array of inputs, including three line-level AUX inputs, a balanced XLR pair, a dedicated phono input, two coaxial (S/PDIF), two optical (S/PDIF), Bluetooth 5.1, and USB. It also offers a fixed-level AUX output and three variable preamp outputs (2 x RCA, 1 x XLR), all isolated for simultaneous use without performance loss. The AUX 3 input can be set to “AV Direct” for external processor integration, and the dedicated headphone amplifier ensures a dynamic experience with all headphone types.

Additional Features

With two 12V trigger outputs and a 4.3” colour TFT display, the 9000Q offers easy access to settings like digital upsampling, input sensitivity, and balance control. The display also features a VU meter and can be dimmed or turned off.
