  • Power output 8Ω :1 X 450 W RMS, 4Ω :1 X 700 W RMS
  • High Bias switch allows the amplifier to use class A on the first watts, beyond this it automatically switches to class AB
  • Dimmable VU meter

The X-A1200 amplifier from Advance Paris is a masterpiece that exudes luxury and delivers unparalleled musical performance. As a monophonic amplifier, it offers the perfect solution for enhancing the overall performance of a High-Fidelity system.

The X-A1200 amplifier has been designed with a philosophy that emphasises the need to keep the supply circuits and amplifier stages completely separate between the left and right channels. This has been achieved by totally isolating the two amplifiers. The high power supply is oversized and comprises a 1 VA toroidal transformer, two power diode bridges mounted on a large heatsink, and 000 capacitors of 12 μF each, i.e. 10 μF. This, along with the 10 "very high current" power transistors (NJW0281G – NJW0302G), enables the X-A1200 amplifier to deliver a power of 450 Watts RMS at 8 Ohms and more than 700 W RMS at 4Ω.

The X-A1200 amplifier also features a switch at the back of the device that allows it to deliver the first Watts in class A (High Bias mode). Beyond this power, the transition to class AB takes place automatically and gradually. The frame of the amplifier is robust and rigid, even when the open steel cover is removed. The interior is compartmentalised, which increases rigidity and achieves galvanic isolation between the various sub-assemblies, installed in a very strategic manner.
