Thanks to advances in insulation materials the latest incarnation has been transformed by XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene), an insulator already delivering outstanding results and widespread critical acclaim for SignatureXL speaker and SignatureX power cables.

Chord Company SignatureX Tuned ARAY Tonearm Interconnect

The SignatureX Tuned ARAY tone arm cable uses separately shielded oxygen free copper silver-plated conductors in Tuned ARAY conductor geometry, XLPE insulation and dual layer foil and high density braid shielding effective to very high frequencies. The outer jacket of each conductor is FEP and the cable is held in the correct configuration with black braided outer jacket. The cable is fitted with our latest PTFE plug surrounds. While not as strikingly beautiful as the previous acrylic versions, they produce a markedly better performance. There’s a degree of extra clarity and a reduction in mechanical noise.  Enough of an improvement for customers with older cables with acrylic plug surrounds to return their cables to be fitted with the PTFE version. The hand-built SignatureX Tuned ARAY tone arm cable can be fitted with straight or right-angle arm connectors. 1.2m length as standard

Van den Hul The Mountain 3T RCA-RCA Interconnect

Van den Hul's top model 3T interconnect with the highest sonic quality. The two centre conductors are each made of 0.9mm diameter 3T conductors and each coated with an extra L.S.C. layer. To reduce the capacitive load by the shielding, Van den Hul have enlarged the distance between the two 3T centre conductors and the shielding. This shielding is made of even 4 layers. Two are made of heavy silver coated high quality copper multistrand constructions and the other two are made of L.S.C. layers. After a run-in time of 3 - 5 hours, you will be very surprised about the huge step- up in the sound quality without changing any other component. The feeling to be "there where the recording is made" will be very strong. With 4 rhodium plated RCA connectors.
