Despite its slim profile, it delivers a scale of sound typically reserved for much larger cabinets. This is achieved through PMC’s legendary Advanced Transmission Line (ATL™) technology, now enhanced by the patent-protected LaminairX airflow system, which reduces turbulence to ensure taut, rhythmic, and distortion-free bass. Critics have been quick to praise its performance. What Hi-Fi? awarded it a full five stars, noting its "class-leading clarity and precision," while AVForums highlighted its "superb bass extension and control" for such a slender design. The 27mm soft dome tweeter and 125mm mineral cone mid-bass driver work in perfect harmony, offering an open, natural midrange that makes vocals feel remarkably lifelike. At HiFiSound, we have the PMC Prophecy 1 on permanent demo in Stockton, allowing you to experience them in person. To help you upgrade, we offer a competitive trade-in scheme for your current speakers, making it easier than ever to bring this British-built excellence home. Every pair also comes with a staggering 20-year warranty, ensuring a lifetime of high-fidelity enjoyment. Key Features: Slim real wood veneered cabinets (Mediterranean Oak, Natural Walnut, or Blackened Walnut) Advanced Transmission Line (ATL™) with LaminairX HF (Tweeter): A 27mm soft dome LF (Mid/Bass): 125mm (5-inch) mineral-loaded cone

PMC Prodigy1 Standmount Speakers

The PMC Prodigy1 has quickly become one of the most popular speakers in our Stockton-on-Tees showroom, and for good reason. As the ideal introduction to the PMC lineup, it brings the brand's legendary "from studio to home" philosophy into a compact, accessible package. Despite its bookshelf size, the Prodigy1 delivers a staggering sense of scale and deep, controlled bass that defies expectations. Why it’s a HiFiSound favourite: It’s "Simple" in looks but a powerhouse in performance. Whether you are new to the brand or a long-time fan looking to setup a secondary system, we invite you to book a demo and hear why this compact marvel is winning over so many of our customers. If you're looking for a deeper sound, we recommend looking at the Prodigy 5 Floorstanding Speakers. Please Note: Speaker grilles available separately, stands not included.

PMC Twenty5 22i Standmount Speakers

The more substantial twenty5.22i is designed for use in larger spaces than the 21, and is equally at home on its dedicated stands, console furniture or other flat surfaces. Its still-trim dimensions belie the lengthy ATL™ concealed inside, which, coupled with the powerful 6.5-inch g-weave bass driver and Laminair™ vent, allow it to deliver a clean, uncluttered and powerful low-end, together with detailed highs from the newly designed soft-dome treble unit. Despite its increased size, its performance is agile and full of dynamism.

PMC Twenty5 21i Standmount Speakers

Although the twenty5.21i is the most compact model in the new range, there’s nothing small about the sound, which has the impact you’d expect from a much larger cabinet, thanks to PMC’s Advanced Transmission Line technology. The speaker is ideal for use in small-to-medium listening environments where space is at a premium, but where you still want detailed bass, ultra-realistic mids and delicate highs with maximum musicality. Equally happy mounted on a stand or a bookshelf, the twenty5.21i offers maximum flexibility for placement, and also makes an excellent choice for effects speakers in an immersive sound system.
