But there is something special about the analogue output, as can be seen from the front panel, 2 glowing miniature tubes provide a great musical-sounding audio signal to your amplifier. Great care was taken to power this CD player by using a toroidal transformer. This provides ample and clean power for all analogue and digital circuitry like CD mechanism, laser control and the all-important Digital to Analog converter (DAC). Equipped with Coaxial (RCA), Optical (TOSLINK) digital outputs, Un-balanced (RCA) and Balanced (XLR) analogue outputs, the X-CD9 is the perfect CD player for your Hi-Fi system and the great CD collection you have.

The analogue conversion must be done through a separate Digital / Analog converter (DAC) or an amplifier with digital sockets.
