It builds upon the legacy of Harbeth's BBC monitor heritage, known for its emphasis on natural sound reproduction and exceptional midrange clarity. Key features of the SHL5plus XD2 include: RADIAL4™ Technology: At the core of the speaker is Harbeth's proprietary 200mm RADIAL4™ mid-bass driver. This cone material is a special blend of injection-molded polypropylene, engineered to provide outstanding detail, clarity, and dynamics. Upgraded Crossover: The "XD2" in the name signifies an "Extra Definition" series, which features a newly refined crossover design. This upgrade improves the seamless integration between the drivers, leading to a more cohesive and natural sound across the frequency range.
